Is having a church strategy biblical?
Yes, we see many biblical figures employing strategies to accomplish their God-given purposes. For instance, the Apostle Paul had a simple strategy for reaching people: When he traveled to a new town, he would first teach in the local Jewish synagogue (Acts 17:1–2). He would then preach to God-fearing Gentiles who, in turn, then connected him to other Gentiles not associated with the Synagogue (Acts 17:17). His strategy emphasized both cultural relevance and relational power.
